If you see "Welcome to Nod" on your screen when you are expecting your content to play it could be for a number of reasons. First look to see if there is a message in the bottom left hand corner of your screen, this message will give a hint as to why a screen may not be playing anything.
Example 1 "No Content to Play"
There is no current content scheduled to play on this screen. This could be for a number of reasons.
- Have there been any images or videos uploaded to the Playlist that this screen is trying to play?
- Did you set an end date on the content on your playlist?
- Does your Playlist start at a later time than the screen? (ie. the screen turns on at 8:00am and the Playlist only starts at 9:00am)
Example 2 "Processing Updates" or "Downloading Asset"
Your screen is currently trying to download either new settings or new assets. If the network is slow this will take longer.
Example 3 "Attempting to Provision"
The screen is currently trying to connect with a screen that you have added in go.nodmedia.io. Please see the Screen Setup section for more information on the provisioning process.
